What Happened
In early September, powerful typhoons combined with intense monsoon rains caused severe flooding across central Vietnam, particularly in coastal and highland provinces. Rivers such as the Mekong and Red River overflowed, damaging entire communities and forcing many schools to close after classrooms and facilities were flooded or deemed unsafe. Months later, many children are still unable to return to school because their communities lack the resources needed to repair or rebuild what was lost.
How We Helped
Instead of birthday gifts last November, my uncle requested support for ABC Bridge’s flood relief efforts. Your incredible generosity raised $2,500, which went directly to a school devastated by the floods. Because of your contributions, the school now has a brand-new playground, a TV, and extra computers, helping students safely return to the classroom with the tools they need.
Thank you to all that have donated, especially to Chris & Trang Warden (US) and @chris.tran.travels (VN).
